Multiplying & Dividing Terms
- Algebraic terms can be multiplied by multiplying the coefficients and the variables
- When multiplying terms with the same variable, the powers add together
- Division in algebra is often shown using a fraction
- When dividing terms with the same variable, the powers subtract from each other
- The final answer to the example 6a cubed divided by 2a is 3a squared
