  • A vector can be represented as A in bold, A underlined, or capital A, capital B with an arrow above
  • Two or more vectors that have the same magnitude and direction are equal
  • Vectors depend on how we get from the start to the finish rather than the location of those points
  • Vectors with the same magnitude but opposite directions can be represented with the same letter but opposite signs
  • When a vector points from B to A, we switch the letters round such that vector A, B becomes vector BA
  • Vectors can also be expressed as column vectors, with the top number representing the x value and the second number representing the y value
