- Reflectional symmetry occurs when half a 2D shape can be reflected in a line of symmetry to form the whole shape
- Regular polygons have the same number of edges as they do lines of symmetry
- Many man-made structures and natural objects have reflectional symmetry
- Reflectional symmetry can make structures more stable and pleasing to the eye
- Many human faces are approximately symmetrical, but no face is perfectly symmetrical
- No need to give real-life examples of symmetry in exams
