  • Rose Black spot is a fungal disease caused by a fungus affecting roses.
  • It primarily impacts rose leaves, causing them to develop purple or black spots.
  • Infected leaves eventually turn yellow and fall off prematurely.
  • The loss of leaves leads to reduced photosynthesis, hindering the plant's ability to produce food and grow.
  • The disease spreads through water or wind.
  • Management includes treating with fungicides and removing and destroying infected leaves to prevent further spread.
