Position of adverbs

Adverbs and adverbial phrases give more information about:
- When something happens (time)
- How it happens (manner)
- Where it happens (place)
Adverbs of time are usually at the beginning or end of the sentence. For example:
- Hoy vamos al parque. (Today we’re going to the park.)
- Vamos al parque mañana. (We’re going to the park tomorrow.)
Adverbs of manner are usually placed after the verb. For example:
- Habla rápidamente. (He/She speaks quickly.)
- Trabajan bien juntos. (They work well together.)
Adverbs of place often come after the verb. For example:
- Está aquí. (He/She is here.)
- Caminamos al parque. (We walked to the park.)
