(How old are you?)

B: Tengo quince. Voy a cumplir dieciséis el mes que viene.

(I am 15. I’m going to be 16 next month.)

A: ¡Qué bien! ¿Vas a hacer algo especial?

(How great! Are you going to do something special?)

B: Sí, voy a tener una fiesta con mis amigos.

(Yes, I’m going to have a party with my friends.)

A: ¿Eres el más joven de tu familia?

(Are you the youngest of your family?)

B: No, mi hermana es más joven. Yo nací en 2009 y ella en 2012.

(No, my sister is the youngest. I was born in 2009 and her in 2012.)

A: ¿Y tus abuelos?

(And your grandparents?)

B: Están jubilados y viven en el campo.

(They are retired and live in the countryside.)

A: ¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños?

(When is your birthday?)

B: Es el cinco de abril. ¡Tengo muchas ganas de celebrarlo!

(It’s the fifth of April. I look forward to celebrating it!)

A: ¿Qué planes tienes?

(What plans do you have?)

B: Voy a salir a cenar con mi familia.

(I’m going to go out to dine with my family.)

A: ¿Dónde naciste?

(Where were you born?)

B: Nací en Madrid, pero me mudé a Valencia cuando nació mi hermano.

(I was born in Madrid, but I moved to Valencia when my brother was born.)

A: ¿Recuerdas algo del nacimiento de tu hermano?

(Do you remember something from the birth of your brother?)

B: Sí, yo tenía ocho años. Fue un momento muy especial.

(Yes, I was eight years old. It was a special moment.)
