Reading task example

We have spoken at length about how to tackle reading, so this section will cover a table of some words that catch students out all the time! One of the biggest challenges for students at any level is recognising synonyms in a text. Often, students may understand a word in the passage but not realise that the question is asking for the same idea using different vocabulary in the question. To avoid being caught out, below is a list of common synonyms worth learning and revisiting regularly to help you stay sharp in the exam. This is not exhaustive so you may want to add to this while revising!
